Supply List for 2019-2022
Pictures from our visits.

American Legion Post 407 sponsors Zavala Elementary School at 51 N. Hamet, one of the oldest schools in El Paso. This year the Interim Principal, Maria Kennedy, suggested that we donate gloves. She chose one of the 3rd classes with forty-one students. The Adjutant, Dennis O’Leary, and member Manny Romero ( Community Service coordinator American Legion Post 407). Dennis and his son, who was visiting, went to the store on Dyer St and took our letter, our Tax-Exempt form and business card to the Store Manager, Luis Ramirez. He was very easy to find in that store and was extremely helpful. He processed our information to prevent any scam and when we went to the register, Sandra presented us with a gift card to help the purchase. It went so smoothly; we were very impressed with the management of that Walmart store. After procuring the 41 pairs of the children’s gloves, we then drove down to the school and presented them just as the children came out of class. Ms. Kennedy was very appreciative of the donation and told us she would give out the gloves that day, just before they left for Christmas break.
American Legion post 407 help host the 5th grade graduation and they sent us two items to say thank you. 1. Personal thank you from Jesus Mendoza. 2. Certificate of Appreciation. Mr. Manny Ramaro Representative the post.
