Robert Harvey, our District, Division and Department Chaplain was admitted to the hospital on Tuesday evening and is currently in CVICU (Cardiovascular) and is dealing with AFIB and pneumonia. I would request that we notify the membership of Texas and request their prayers for him. He cannot answer phone calls at this time, but is reachable via email or facebook. He cannot accept flowers or plants while in this unit.

‘Aim High … Fly-Fight-Win’

Update 27 above (Space force) House and Senate negotiators reached a deal on a defense policy bill aimed at avoiding a government shut down, creating a Space Force, and getting rid of the so-called “widow’s tax” that has been a main goal of military families for years. Read more in the file called Space-Force above.

National Defense Strategy. the below file was sent from the 16th district of the American legion.

Comrades,
This is just a heads up that we are cancelling the 16th District Convention for April and that we are in the process of deciding when to have the convention. Because of the El Paso City ordinance, we have been ordered to shutter our posts for 30 days. That takes us right up to our Convention date. Not knowing how long this is going to last we are looking at 15-17 May. That is the week after Mother’s Day. This is pre-decisional and not set in stone. More to follow later this week.
Practice good hygiene, wash your hands often, disinfect surfaces often and practice social distancing!
For God and Country
